1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Email address — collected when you subscribe, request a magic login link, or contact us
• Payment information — collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or bank account details
• Name — collected by Stripe during checkout if provided

Information collected automatically:

• Browser type, operating system, and device type
• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Pages visited and time spent on site
• Referring URLs

2. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver daily picks and subscription services to paying members
• To send magic login links and authentication emails
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
• To communicate service updates, changes, or important notices
• To improve our picks engine, website, and user experience
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your email with sportsbooks, advertisers, or marketing companies.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate LineEdge. Each has its own privacy policy:

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies and browser storage:

• LocalStorage — We store your session token and email in your browser's localStorage after you log in via magic link. This enables you to stay logged in for up to 7 days without re-authenticating.
• No advertising cookies — We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising trackers.
• Netlify analytics — Basic, privacy-friendly page view analytics may be collected by Netlify at the server level (no cookies, no personal data).

5. Data Retention

• Active subscribers — Your email and subscription status are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation for billing dispute purposes.
• Cancelled subscribers — Records are anonymized or deleted within 180 days of cancellation upon request.
• Payment records — Stripe retains payment history as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years).
• Session tokens — Stored only in your browser's localStorage and expire after 7 days automatically.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt-out — Unsubscribe from all non-essential communications at any time

7. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 8. Children's Privacy

LineEdge is intended for users 21 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we become aware that we have collected data from someone under 21, we will delete it immediately.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption on all pages
• Row-level security on all database tables
• Magic link authentication (no passwords stored)
• Stripe handles all payment data under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance
• Environment variables for all API keys (never exposed in frontend code)

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of LineEdge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
